Weedon Corrugated Products Invests to Increase Output Capacity

Weedon Corrugated Products of Audenshaw, Manchester, has invested in a brand new, state-of-the-art Fosber dry end for its in-house corrugator. This will allow the company to produce significantly more sheet board per hour than previously and enable it to meet growing customer demand, particularly from eCommerce and export markets.

Weedon Corrugated Products is one of only a handful of independent corrugated manufacturers in the UK to have its own in-house corrugator. This gives the company greater control over costs, quality and production schedules, and enables it to offer enhanced customer service.

Weedon Corrugated Products produces B, C and BC double wall corrugated sheet and packaging, Less-flute (the company’s own economical, environmentally friendly boards), E flute, EL (E flute combined with Less-flute) and EB double wall. As well as manufacturing sheet board for its own use and for use by its sister company in the Weedon Group, Weedon PSC, Weedon Corrugated Products also supplies sheet board and layer pads to other industries including stationery and plastic packaging manufacturers.
